Broadcasts
A broadcast sends a published email design to a complete audience generation. It requires paid Marketing, sending capacity, eligible recipients and an authorized sender. Read-only users can inspect; launching, scheduling and resuming require Marketing sending permission.
Prepare the draft
- Create and evaluate the audience.
- Publish the email design and review sender, subject and personalization.
- Create a broadcast with a name, audience and publication.
- Save and review the summary before launch or scheduling.
Saving pins the audience generation and published design revision. Later rule changes, evaluations or publications do not change these references. Edit and save the draft to choose different references before launch.
Each contact’s personalization data is resolved when its message is accepted. Later profile edits do not recompile accepted messages; an address change can prevent sending to the previous address.
Send now or schedule
Launch starts traversing the audience. Scheduling interprets the entered time in the device timezone and stores a UTC instant; details display UTC. Nonexistent or ambiguous times during clock changes are rejected.
The queue starts work when the instant arrives and operational capacity is available. Scheduling does not guarantee execution to the second. Changing the device timezone later does not change the saved instant.
Pause, resume or cancel
Pausing stops preparation and pending sends that can still be stopped, retaining reservations. Resuming continues from saved progress. Cancellation blocks new work and requests release of cancellable pending messages; cleanup may continue in the background.
A message whose provider call has already started can complete after pause or cancellation. These actions cannot recall mail or reverse delivery. Uncertain outcomes retain evidence and reservations until reconciliation.
Interpret progress
Accepted counts messages admitted by Sendiro. Suppressed counts members skipped during traversal, such as ineligible or duplicate addresses. Later suppression of an accepted message appears in that email without rewriting traversal counts.
Completed means audience preparation finished; messages may remain pending or uncertain. Detail activity is limited: use analytics for aggregates and the API to investigate individual messages.
If quota or access is missing, review capacity before creating another broadcast. Technical failure may require administrative recovery of the same work to continue without repeating accepted messages. See troubleshooting.
