Email designs

An email design brings together email content, subject and sender. Your team can prepare a draft and publish a version to reuse in workspace sends.

Open Email designs with permission to read them. Editing, publishing a version and sending tests are separate capabilities. Content can edit and publish by default, but cannot send real tests or access contacts. Publishing does not send email. Media read allows selecting images; uploading, organizing and deleting files are granted separately.

Choose an editor

Choose the create-email-design option, then select Visual or HTML. An email design keeps its mode: conversion between editors is not available. Create another email design if you need a different mode.

Visual editor

Add blocks from Blocks, configure the email in Settings, and edit the selection’s properties in Inspector. You can move, duplicate or delete blocks, and use undo and redo.

Rows arrange content in columns; columns stack it; containers group content with backgrounds and borders. Select a layout before adding a block to insert inside it. New visual email designs start from Brand defaults.

HTML editor

Write HTML and review the result alongside the code. You can also edit the plain-text alternative. Leave it empty to let Sendiro generate one from supported content.

The preview does not execute scripts. Email needs compatible content; pasting a complete web page does not guarantee its code will be accepted or appear identically in every email client.

Complete details and personalize

Add a recognizable name, subject and authorized sender address. Subjects and sender metadata are stored as literal text.

Use variables such as {{firstName}} to personalize the body. In Marketing, names including email, firstName and lastName resolve from the contact; custom variables bind to field keys. The preview shows variable names rather than inventing recipient data.

Do not assume {{unsubscribeUrl}} generates an unsubscribe link: it currently requires an explicit value and is not automatically connected to sending unsubscribe tokens.

Save, review and publish

Editors save automatically. Before leaving, check the save status. If an error appears, use the retry action and retain your content until the outcome is confirmed.

Review desktop and mobile previews, then choose Publish. Publication waits for pending changes and validates metadata, content, images and the sender.

Publishing creates an immutable version; it does not send email. Editing the draft afterwards does not change the published version either. To use your changes, publish a new version and select it where needed.

If someone else modified the email design, avoid overwriting it blindly: retain your work and review the current version before continuing.

Send a test with Contact data

Use Send test, also available on Free. Choose a Contact with an authorized address and review personalization, missing fields and expected usage before confirming. The current draft and data are frozen; later edits do not change that test. Review results in the same dialog: provider acceptance is not delivery. Eligible retries preserve already accepted messages. Manage authorizations in Contacts.
